Nice shots! 4,5 and 6 do it for me! Interesting to see shots from the 70-200, taking mine out for its first motorsport event next weekend. What you think of it?

Thanks for the comments chaps, feel free to pick at them as it helps enormously to rectify my mistakes/improve my images.

Nice shots! 4,5 and 6 do it for me! Interesting to see shots from the 70-200, taking mine out for its first motorsport event next weekend. What you think of it?

The one criticism I have of the lens is that it struggles quite badly in low light conditions - as I found on the Red Kite stages in January! My wallet couldn't stretch to £800 for the 70-200 f2.8 so it's give and take really.

However, in decent light I've been very pleased with the results.

This isn't a criticism as such as there was nothing you could do about it, but the last 2 would have been spot on without the barrier tape as that's a lovely angle with the trees and farm buildings in the background and as one of them has an Octavia WRC in it, i'll pick that as my favourite ;)

All great shots Rhodri, I love the Octavia but you still cant beat an Escort

As Geoff said, it's a shame about the tape
