Autumn leaves

I shot this picture upwards. I was inspired to take this shot because of the strange curves in the tree trunk. Although the light shining through the leaves is blown out, I somehow like the effect of these highlights in the picture.

For some reason the tree reminds me of a body going up with 2 arms, stretching it a bit but use your imagination.

Nice photo, I know you can only photograph what you can see but be interesting to see the same shot further into Autumn - more leaf colours.

Don't worry about the blown highlights. They add to the dreamy feel of the picture. Nice work :D

leehal. I also see the body and, yes having more fall colors would be nice. I still have on my to-do list to shoot one tree a couple of times in various seasons. Have not yet found the time and the right tree.
