Eastbourne Speedway (Full throttle Action!)

Went along to the pre season practice at Arlington Stadium, home of the eastbourne Eagles Speedway team.Had a good days shooting and some spectacular riding from Lewis bridger and Cameron Woodward especially.So here's some of the action for all you speedway fans......Cheers Barry

Thanks everyone......I shot these with a Canon 350D - Sigma 80-400OS APO DG...set on shutter priority @ 500th sec......with the light available I was getting various apatures but on the whole all the shots were nice and sharp with good clarity and colour.....it wasn't a sunny day by any means.....ISO was 200 for most of the day until the last hour when I upped it to 400.
The track was very slick at the end......look forward to watching some racing in the coming season and getting a few 'Racing' shots aswell.......thanks for looking and commenting.......Cheers Bazza

Great shots 3rd pic actually looks like the rider is going backwards through the corner
I get to see speedway GP on Foxtel tv and marvell at the balance and skill of the riders

Thanks Everyone.......yes the top riders do make it look easy but I can asure you it takes plenty of skill to ride one of those specialised speedway Machines......I used to ride myself.....until I got old enough to know what self preservation was!
Was down at the press and Practice day today........the riders had some practice and it rained on and off......the light was very poor but we got a few good shots.......Im off to Wales tomorrow to shoot some more Fast Jets in the mountains so I'll post a few from the press day when I get back........thanks for looking and commenting......Cheers Barry
