Michel:
That's a lovely picture, and it works well with B&W.
If I haven't already welcomed you to the forum, (just in case) welcome to the forum.

I like this shot ... very nice capture. The only thing I'd like to see is more of her eyes (I'm no expert on how to accomplish that ... fill flash perhaps?).

I like your choice of B&W. I like the noise too - it adds some retro feeling.

This one should be in a classroom book to show how a B&W can be muuuuuuuuuuuuuch better then a color version. Stunning difference!
Clearly I prefer the B&W here, although I usually (i.e. always) shoot color. Great work!

I'm going to go against the grain and say the colour one is better
For me the white streaks in the BG are less distracting in the colour version. And yes, a little fill flash would have lightened the eyes, or at least put a catchlight in them.
It's a nice picture either way.

A very pretty lady and an excellent pose. But I can't get that excited about either the color or b&w rendition.
On my monitor, in the color shot, the left side of her nose appears to be overexposed. This also transfers to the b&w version, though not as quite noticable. Also the degree of noise in each version is distracting.

Very beautiful ... both the girl and your rendition of her!
I like the B&W conversion, it has a very nice tonality.
How did you do it?
Best regards,
Andy
