Does the Zenfolio uploader actually work? I've done everything recommended with the java update and restart and it doesn't work in firefox or IE. What are others doing to get it to work. The HTML uploader takes too long. Help!

I had some trouble with it when my connection was slow. Do some research with firefox and make sure that your Java update is compatible. Have you made sure that you are not falling victime too spyware and or virii?

I had the same trouble last week when I joined----I found that if I open up my FAST STONE browser halfway maximum and drag and drop it works---I don't know why the ZF doesn't work either but I use IE with XP--

OK, it seems to be partially working now, option 1 doesn't want to work but option 2 is working which is a lot better than the html uploader. Thanks for the responses

i use firefox, and it's very slow to load, usually. once the window is there, i can drag and drop files fine and they upload fine as well. it's just having the window resolve so i can DnD that takes a while.
on the plus side, i've noticed that moving folders around is a lot faster.

I use it with Firefox all the time with no issues once the ap finally loads. It does take a while to load the first time I use it in a session for a particular gallery on my site. Any additional pictures to that gallery and it's very fast. If I move to a different gallery, it's slow the first time again.

for the sake of letting OP know, it works,,,
I use it with FireFox under ubuntu linux, all works fine.
Some of the "HTML" doesn't look "right". But that can be blamed on IE 4,5,6,7,,,, being non html compliant web browser. Most companies try to make IE work, and figure all is good from there.
If it works with IE, it's broken :)
