For some time now, the pictures that I am getting with my 30-months old A95 are 'over-exposed'. Whatever may be the settings, the result is the same: over-exposed pictures. Is it a problem with the camera settings or with the camera itself? Also, when the pictures are zoomed-in, a series of horizontal lines can be seen. Can anyone help, please?

Check the Sticky on Canon's Service Notice (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=238911). This might be your problem. Worth a shot, anyhow.

Do you have the digital zoom enabled? If so try turning that off and sticking with the optical zoom only.

No improvement. I think the camera is good for a servicing. Thanks for help and support.
