I am wondering if a system might be put in place on SHARE PHOTOS forum
to make the pictures easier to navigate.

My suggestion is that the person posting the picture can TITLE the picture
however he/she desires. But a short DESCRIPTION should also follow.

In the format:

TITLE GOES HERE (description/warnings here)

Whaddya think? Might make it easier to weed through pics and easier to
search later on when pics disappear from page 1.

I think this would be nice to see the types of photos you like to see. I search through more than i have time for as it is :-/

I dont think we need to complicate this title business. We can pretty well tell what the type of photo will be by who the poster is, and if not, a surprise wont hurt(aside from nudity).
I subscribe to the K.I.S.S. method, and have learned over the years that; "If it aint BROKE, DON'T FIX it. OK, I'm running to hide now.

What would really be more useful would be for people to give more meaninful titles to their images. (listen to who's talking    )

Your first post in Share was quite accurately titled.

Personally, I think it's fine the way it is. Even though I spend a lot of time here there's just no way that I can keep up with Share. So I look for two things: people who's work I've liked in the past, or an interesting title. I *love* great titles, and will often enough view the image even if I *know* that it's going to contain subject matter that doesn't interest me.

I don't completely agree with Bruce's comment about knowing the subject matter depending on the poster. That's OK for those of us who have been around a while, but fails for new people - both readers and posters. A first-time visitor is hardly going to be aware of the fact that I often post nude women, or that charlesu posts pictures of birds...

I like it the way it is, it works.

In my short time lurking and posting here Iv worked out pretty quickly what is going to be in a thread based on whos posted the thread and whats in the title.

So far I have not had a problem with how things are titled but I do appreciate it when someone gives advanced warning about nudity, because I often look while I am at work.

I do the same thing

I like it as it is. I don't usually have any trouble finding the kind of pictures that I want to look at. I'd rather not complicate matters if we can avoid it.

I voted for it to stay as it is. Mostly because I like photo's, not any particular type of photos. if I want to track a thread after it's off page one I use the your posts function on the home page which lists all the threads I have commented on. EASY...

Now I think it is fine as it is.

And also the thought of imposing rules on how threads are titled is going a bit too far. Think of the mods that would have to enforce such a rule - they do a great job keeping everyone to the rules... lets not make any more rules eh? :)
