will it let me crop in ratios for printing?

yes, in the quick develop bar, under saved presets, the second option down should be crop ratio. (this feature is in the library mode)

Select the crop tool and then you can open the the pop up as shown below. You can also maintain the crop with the aspect ratio of the original photo.

Im in library mode and I still can not find it. ???

Hit R to go into Crop mode and if you still can't see it, hit T to show the toolbar.

ok I found out how to crop in same ratio. That is what I wanted. Thanks!

Ah, sorry, I missed that we were talking QD.

Click this little arrow to show the crop ratio section.

I use a little program called Skitch (mac based). I seem to remember it's something like shift-print-screen on a pc - or try the other modifiers.

In PC alt+printscreen will copy just the active window into the clipboard

tomd you can use fscapture from faststone for the same thing on a win. Lots of other apps do this too.

I did not know about this crop either but I am not completed reading my LR by Scott Kelby yet.
