I understand from what I've read in the forums earlier, is that a small amount of sharpening is applied in camera to the RAW file.

If so, then my questions are:
How do the sharpening amount of the RAW file compare to the out of the camera JPG (large/fine) file? If the RAW file is less sharpened than the JPG file. How should I go about to equalize the differense?
In Photoshop is it done in the APS RAW plugin or after?

Just a few ifs there :?

Raw files have no processing done to them in camera. It's the jpg that the camera applies some sharpening to on its own.

Sharpening is best applied at the conclusion of your post processing rather than in the raw conversion process. Ideally, your sharpening will be specific to the image's use. Because of this, I often save processed images with no sharpening. Then, when I want to print an image or display it on the web, I resize and sharpen (in that order). Generally, printed images can handle more sharpening then images intended for display on a monitor.

Don't worry about matching the sharpening applied to JPEGs in camera. One of the big advantages of RAW is the ability to apply just the right amount of sharpening for each image. Many out of camera JPEGs are over sharpened.
