i like the blue on the neck. i tried to shoot some of these the other day, but they didnt come out well

good stuff, i love shooting lizards, the trick is to move REAL slow. the nose looks a bit stubbier to the ones i got here.

Thanks Mike. I took this with the 40D in live view, Canon 300L IS w/Canon 2x TC, tripod mounted, shutter release cable, manual focus from about 6 feet away. 100% crop. --Rick

Very nice equipment set up for the shot! HOw do you like the shutter release cable....feel liek it helps??

Thanks Mike. I use mirror lockup and the shutter release cable whenever possible. It eliminates nearly all camera shake (with a tripod, of course). The only problem is that the subject has to be stationary.

Very nice work on this one. I also like the shutter release cable. makes a big difference on stationary shots.
