Hi, I am new to the site and was wondering if there is a preffered site among the members for hosting your pics. I have been lurking for a few weeks and am impressed with this site so far . TIA for any feedback to my question.

It really depends on what you want to do with your images...there are lots of good sites and then there are lots of free sites...usually the two do not overlap.
I use pbase.com for my everyday stuff and zenfolio.com for my sales galleries. I wouldn't recommend Flickr to anyone...it is slow to load and there are some real issues with what happens to images displayed there.

First of all welcome to the Forums. As the rather blunt answer above stated there is a sticky, personally I favour Flickr as it gives me some nice feedback from Flickr members as well as my friends here on POTN. I must say I have never had any problems with Flickr and the speed is just the same as all other sites I visit, perhaps that's just my connection. Perhaps try a few out before you commit.

Now that the thread was moved , I see the sticky. Wasn't sure where to post the question at first. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the info all.
