Since rawshooter doesnt support 40D raw files I was forced to switch to another program so I decided on acdsee pro 2. I am finding that I like the program a lot and gives a lot of control over your raw files.
Where Im getting a bit stuck is sharpening and noise reduction. I dont know what settings to use for sharpening and NR since changing values to max does nothing in the preview mode. Should I simply leave those settings alone and sharpen and NR in photoshop instead? Or do some people do sharpening of raw images and then USM again in PS?
