Friend - Wow, your photos are really good, what camera do you use?

Oh..that..(digital rebel)... no wonder they're so good. If I had that camera, I could take awesome pictures too.

Me - Well..its more than the camera...

Friend - I'm sure it is, but I'm just saying I could take the same pictures you have if I had that camera.

Arrrrrgggghh.... Anyone else get this?

I showed some friends a print that I had made. It was a male Anna's hummingbird, shot at about 20 feet with 800mm focal length. (100-400mm lens with two 1.4 teleconverters)

One guy said, "Wow, that's pretty good. You must have ten times digital zoom!"
