Like the 3rd shot! Good work on these considerign there at night! How they see the track, they have no lights, and no lights of track (from what i can see)

They do have lights around the track,,It would be impossible to ride without them..It is hard enough with the lights they have..I just focused most of my light on the rider and drowned out most of the back light..

HAHA! The second guy scrubbin is a GIRL! Her name is Tatum Sik, one of the better WMA Pros. These were all shot at StarWest.

I have used flash at motocross before, and when I have asked the riders if it bothered them, they have told me that they don't even notice it.

Maybe the flash does not bother riders because their brains are processing at a high rate due to the intensity of the race?

Racing is a mental game. If you aren't focused on the race you aren't racing. A flash shouldn't be a problem because that's not what they are thinking about, they are setting up for the next turn.
