My new fish tank! 165 gallons

That's one massive tank! Always wanted one but I figure I'd be too lazy to keep it up -- and the fish don't need to suffer because of me:P

awsome tank,.. i wish i had the space and time. was the water foggy of is that just the glass? ive had good luck shooting fish in a tank with flash as long as your at an angle.

Is that a coral skeleton in the last pic? If so, you might want to pull it out, fw fish sometimes cut themselves on them.

LSU, yes its cichlids.
Its not salt water fishes and very colorful. The "mbuna", or "pseudo" kind of cichilds are from my point of view the best fish to keep. I had a lot of fish tank and species in the past. I will only keep wild fish or F1 fish in my tank, so, my fish are import from the African malayie lake or a direct child from a wild "famely".
Im happy to have a great importator of african cichlid close of my place...

I have to keep this kind of rocks in the fish in the tank,it keeps the PH stable. African Cichlids will never get cuts with this kink of rocks, event bigger cichlids like oscars. This kind of rock coudnt arms any fish anyways...

Bigger the tank is, easier is it to keep it clean. But start willl a small tank to know if you will really like it. But, over all,the sjob is to remove 1/2 of water every week and clean the filter every 2 month.
I will spend at least 1000$in a sec for fishes in the next 2 weeks for that fish tank. So it will be clean and perfect, some of my wild fish will do some repro ( i hope!)

I'm down to my last aquarium (55gal) with only a single Black Pirahna. i had red bellies, they were cool.... i had a cray fish who was a real PITA to my ornamental fish, biting their fins off and such, i put him in with the red bellies and the next morning all i found was a piece of shell...lol

im down to a 55 now that my wife uses to breed mollys and guppies cause she "loves all the little babies" lol
