Here's a great way to attach the "extend a view" to the swivel monitor of a canon A-80, without using annoying velcro strips or elastic bands....on the "extend a view" base attach an anti skid material, (best so far is the sticky matt for plates.) this will also prevent scratches to the monitor's surface. Now get a latex glove and cut out the index finger and cut off a small portion of it's tip. Now extend the smaller end of the latex finger onto the base of the "extend a view". Secondly, extend the lager opening over the lcd monitor. The latex stretches wonderfully on the lcd and allow you to swivel freely and even close the monitor back into it's craddle without any extra friction. Adjust the tensions so the attachment fits snuggly. So far this is best way to attach this device without compremising the lcd monitor.... best regards
