Evening all, I have recently joined the forum after purchasing my first slr, a 400d xti rebel. As my main interest is automotive photography I though I would stick a post on here with a few shots from my old Konica Minolta z3 and my dads nikon d2h. Unfortunetly I have not been able to get out much and do any car pics with my 400d due to the crappy weather but will hopefully get some done soon.

You have a good eye for the subject there. We look forward to seeing what you can do with the 400D. How do you find it in relation to the Minolta, by the way?

The minolta is a childs toy in comparison. My family have been involved in professional photography for over 100 years and for 7 years I worked with photographers at football games processing their pictures so have seen a wide range of cameras and what they are capable of and I am very impressed with the little 400d, it would stand up against alot of the nikon range that is still being used by some of the guys today and at a fraction of the cost.

Really love the pics of the mk2's :) I think I've seen you around vortex? At least I've seen those pics before. Specially like the mk2 ones, cause I'm a mk2guy myself. Good luck with the 400d.

#1: I'd crop it a bit tighter.
#5: Pretty good light, but bad side reflections.
