i got a 40d and the kit 17-85mm want to go to leafs game and i beleive what i was told was the max focal length is 70mm. questions are what are your setups? are u even allowed to have a flash, do u use flash? do u think they require disclosure? since the 40d aint really a p&s camera they might think im a pro or news

If it's a professional team you're taking pictures of, you can take them for your own pleasure, but cannot sell them. You would definitely be infringing on their rights.
