I tried a closer crop on this one.

The conditions were near perfect today, sun & wind at my back, blowing the silt far, far away from me and the camera gear.

The clarity of that shot is amazing, which lens did you shoot it with? Any other good shots?

The action shots were all shot with the sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 hsm dg ex. Close up non action with the canon 16-35mm f/2.8" usmII

When I get home I will add a couple more to the thread.

Great shot! How often are events like this held out a Jean? Would love to go shoot some myself. Is there a website foir info??

LVRSCCA.org for this organization's stuff, not too certain of frequency, but if you just want to shoot some Suby's in the dirt, let me know, and I'll give you a heads up when a bunch of the Flat4 guys go out with me so I can shoot their cars and get our cars dirty.

There was also a track day in Pahrump Saturday & Sunday, so I spent all day yesterday up there, 16 gb's of photos to go through, I'll try to post some of those soon also.
