Good day all!
Next week end is the F1 race in Melbourne. As it will be the first time I will attend that event (bought a 4 days general admission), I spent the afternoon wandering around the track in Albert Park.
I had been warned regarding the fences but I did not imagine that: these fences are huge and more annoying, there is a ~3m wide no-mans land between general admission zone and the fence itself.
So the 3m-∞ af setting is useless. Do you guys know any good spot to avoid them or any angle I could shoot from to avoid those fences?
At the moment, the only solution I can see is MF on the road before the car and then shoot it like that. Not great for my kept/taken ratio or panning...
I may as well try to get access to the stands for one day but wonder if it is worth it (from a photography pov...)
Anyway, I am almost hopeless. If you have any advice or trick, they will be highly highly welcome.
Thx guys
Matthieu
