notice the face./.on my last pics before i used gary fong defusers u couldn't see the difference in textures in the face..but now its clear as day..see the bottom half of its face is shiny?and the top half is matt.the defusers are really good.
what i have done is upload to raw..all i changed in raw is mayby the exposure meter and mayby change with colour temp a little..i then save to jpeg,i then run it through imagenomic noisewhere processional which i bought last week..good program.then i sharpen 200-1-1 and fade the sharpening..i got some help from lordv.from what i gather this is what he does.

Looks very good to me - beautiful mantid portrait. Lighting, detail and sharpness are all good imho.

Great job there MJ - how would you compare how this looks to how shooting the same in jpg would have looked?

I dont think theres alot of difference but in raw u have more options..

Yeah, I suspected it wouldnt look a great deal different and I know that you have more options using raw - that is, if you need them :lol:

Yeah I know everyone says you should - so I guess we should ay. Its probably the best and safest way of taking pics and only takes a few moments to save to jpeg. Ill probably make the changover soon once my brain has recovered from setting up new pc lol.
