Took this shot a few months ago on the way to work early one weekend morning. No one on the road, and the morning fog was just rolling over the roadway.
Taken with my Canon 17-55 2.8. Settings: 55mm, 1/25, f2.8, ISO 800, IS turned on. Not a very sharp picture, but I think this would have been difficult to achieve w/o IS. I edited this in DPP. Used monocrome picture setting, the orange filter effect, sharpening of 5, and used the High setting on both NR parameters. It's a little grany, but I like how it adds to the photo.
C&C are welcome.
Thanks!
Mario

It's pretty grainy, but still a cool shot.

The graininess does add to the picture. It's gives a feel of mystery, leaving the viewer open for imagination. To me, it looks like it's dark and ominous. It might be a dangerous place. You could tell a good story with that picture. I actually really like this picture, despite it's mediocre quality.
Thanks for sharing! :)

Perhaps, it is the road less traveled. Agree?

I really like it. Though I think I would crop out the lone street lamp on the upper left hand corner...kinda takes away from the symmetry.

Thanks everyone for the comments. There are some very interesting responses here. i like that. Took this on my way to work very early one Sunday morning...definitely a road less traveled ;)
I made a nice large print of this one. And although I really like the grain in the image as seen on the computer screen, you can't really notice it in the print unless you view it from a very close distance. Oh well.
Thanks again for viewing!
