I would up your shutter speed initially, then more of your shots would be in focus, then when you have got the anning technique sorted start getting slower and slower speeds.
All helps when you have a fast lens too!
I quite like the Porsche shot!

Yeah I cranked the shutter down alot cause that is what someone told me to do the last time I posted up some photos.
all were shot with a Canon XTi/ Canon EF 70-200mm 1:4 L Lens.
Thanks for the response

For panning you should bring down your shutter speeds, but it looks like you should be trying the 1/80-1/100 speeds until you start nailing those and then start going down to 1/60 and lower.
Good job though, keep shooting!

Can you shoot from a lower angle? That may be better than the parking lot view.

Lucky you, we've still got a good month before our season starts.
The best thing you can do is to keep practicing. Panning takes some time, but it'll get better and better.
One of the things you can do is to identify some good transition spots on course so you can get some variety in addition to the panning shots.
Oh, gotta love that Ford!

Right after I saw the pics and sifted through the responses, right before I closed the window, and I saw the TeamWTF link, haha. Guess it's a small world, since I always enjoy an auto-x ses with a WTF driver :).

Yes, it is a small world. But I wouldn't want to have to paint it.
Who do you normally run with?
