I have a A 60 with lines across the screen... if i replace the LCD will that fix it and where can i get replacement cannon components such as a LCD ect... for a decent price

It might fix it unless its not the LCD that is bad and its actually the cables of connector.... Do the lines show up in the photos you take? Canon is where you probably need to get the parts from. Or you could buy one off of Ebay and get the LCD off of it. It will probably be more expensive to fix it than the camera is worth.

I would call Canon, it may fall under this recall.

Thank you for this posting. I own an A60 Sure Shot. The LCD works fine for playback, and shows menu information, BUT there is no picture of what I aim the camera at. I wrote to Canon about this warranty to see if I apply.

Before you send it back, try pushing the "Disp" button a few times - it sounds like you might have turned off the live view.
