Well a very rough weekend for racing. Rained like the end of the world on Friday. Saturday race day came with 45 mph winds from the previous days storm.

Taking pictures with my 600mm lens was nearly impossible because of the winds, it was like trying to hold on to a kite. I did get a few really good shots though. I concentrated on pit shots mostly because of the winds. I was lucky enough to get hot pit pass for the AMA 200 at Daytona this year.

I will post up some more tomorrow as i just got home form the 10 hour drive and haven't had much time to go through them all. here is a couple to get started and will add some more tomorrow.

Getting the game face on.

The AMA isn't my racing world but the rider in the first photo bears a striking resemblence to Kevin Harvick...

I thought the same thing about the 1st picture and Kevin Harvick. Nice shot by the way.

That is the regining Superbike champ Ben Spies. He is most likely going to goto MOTOGP next year. In fact he will riding in both US GP's this year ( Laguna Seca and Indy).
