Last night, while shooting a high school baseball game, I heard a noise coming from the parking lot. Being an old hot rodder at heart, I turned around to see what was making that rumbling sound. :-)
Three guys standing next to me burst out laughing at the photographer shooting the old car.
I thought it was kinda cool. Too bad the fence was in the way.

Nice.
Did you get any details on the car?

No details. Apparently there was a fundraiser going at the high school and this fellow was looking for a parking spot. I was shooting the baseball game and it was in about the fourth or fifth inning. I didn't try to look him up. I was surprised that the pic came out as good as it did. ISO 3200, F/2.8. :-)
The engine has a front mounted distributor so I guess it is a small block Ford.

Hey MT..
If you want to see hundreds of cars like that all up and down the street with the TX state capital as a backdrop, head over to Austin in the first week of April. The annual Lonestar roundup is taking place, and it's paradise for lovers of street rods, muscle cars, and customs.

You don't have to pay to get into the expo center, just show up on south Congress street on Friday or Saturday afternoon-evening and you'll be in car lover heaven.
