The bloodiest war we ever fought. Taken at the reenactment of the first Civil war battle ever fought in Oklahoma. Not very civil any way you look at it. This was a shot that just kind of grabbed my heart when I went back through them the third time.

Only the blue jeans ruin it for me. and if I HAD to be picky - I guess the leaves in the foreground seem a bit soft.

Thanks. Just as a note of general information, the confederates were pretty rag tag when it came to uniforms and a lot of them wore blue wool pants very much like the union army wore. That's what is in the picture. I agree though it would have been better if he had had grey wool pants on.

The leaves are probably OOF some.
