im so sorry but the market has too many products and i can't make the decision myself :(

Im using the lowepro Fastpack 250 but overgrew it. So im looking for another one.

- a backpack (i like backpack because of its storage and easiness of organizing equipment)
- AW is good to have but not a must have
- very comfortable to wear (my fastpack 250 does the job well)
- no or removable waist belt - i hate wearing a waist belt to school
- computer compartment
- looks good
- secured
- im a small guy - no bigger than my fastpack, 31.5 X 24 X 46 cm. a litter bigger might be fine.
- hold a big body with big lens attached, a 580EX flash, at least 4 other medium lenses, ball head and accessories. more room will be appreciated, i sometimes carry another body.
- under $200
- tripod holder (not really necessary)

i've been sticking with lowepro for a long time, it would be nice to keep doing that, or try something new..

thanks for reading guys

it looks too big on my back :( i guess i don't need the stuff called quick access. getting the camera out without taking it off is nice, but it's not that easy with the fastpack (i think the slingshot is the one created to do this stuff)
another thing is that the waist belt doesnt make me feel comfortable walking to school. it's like yelling hey, im carrying tons of lenses on my back...

i guess i would have to CUT the waist belt since many great bags have it and not removable :( :( X(

What can I say? I don't use backpacks except when I'm hiking, and then I want a hip belt.

There are plenty of backpacks that will fit your criteria, except for one thing - the waist belt. You're going to have a hard time finding a dedicated photo backpack, or any decent backpack for that matter, that doesn't come with some type of integral waist belt.

i went to the camera store a long time ago, and i see some lowepros that has the removable waist belt, but the sale man was so impolite so i didn't have a lot of time looking at it. poor Orlando. :(
if there is a waist belt and not removable, i want it slim and small like the one on the lowepro Flipside... :D

The tamrac cyber pack 8 has a very small waist strap that can be hooked together....the back pack is awesome.....I just spent a couple hours at Calumet Photo this afternoon looking through the bags....and I would have to say that most of them have the waist thingy, which I really don't want either.

cool, will take a look at it, actually will try to see if the cyber pack 6 fit my gears since the 8 seems to be quite large :)
