Hey Folks,
So I recently had a good sigman warranty experience. I bought a EF-500DG Super off of the FM forums, worked great for a couple months and then it died approximately at the end of september. I emailed the guy I bought it from and he dug out the receipt showing the warranty ending on Oct 8th. By the time I got ahold of sigma it was the 11th and they didn't receive the flash until the 18th.
Sigma didn't give me any hassels with the warranty work or the receipt not being in my name. I just received a call from them on friday and the flash is on it's way home. I was pretty impressed in general.
I know there are cases where it takes longer but it took less than two weeks, better than what they quoted. All in all I feel pretty lucky: the guy I bought it from was very cooperative, sigma was very cooperative and soon I will have my flash back ;-)
