Im planning on going down to Vegas for my spring break. I want to bring most of my camera gear, but was wondering if it maybe too much? I want to bring a duffel bag with some clothes and my 7MDH without checking neither of them in.
The 7MDH will have basically everything in my sig with the addition of batteries, chargers, blowers etc.

I'll be traveling Southwest. Im sure my camera bag will fit under the seats and my duffel wont have much in it, so I can store it overhead.

I'd like to hear any experiences when traveling with big camera bags.

I think that will be big enough for you. You can go to Crumplerbags.com and they have very good pictures to show you all that can fit in your bag using both Nikon and Canon equipment. From the top of my head, it fits 2-3 lens with camera +grip and flash with a little spare room. I am getting a Crumpler bag as well and was considering the 6 and 7MDH bags. In the end I chose the backpack, Customary Barge, because I wanted something for bikerides and Hikes. They are the coolest bags out there and I am sure you will enjoy it :)

Definitely no problem. You'll have a whole side empty practically.

I travel with my 7MDH and find no problems. I usually take a lens out and have a lot of room for a book or two, some snacks, and some other small stuff. It fits nicely under the seat, too.

I used to have that bag and it should fit everything you list without issue.

You'll have no problems travelling with it. I have everything in my sig plus some odds and ends (excluding the tripod), with some room to spare.
