I think it's safe to say the GTR trans is a little more hi-tech than what you would find in an average run-of-the-mill minivan. Some of the fastest cars are autos. (I.E. Mercedes SLR, Bentley Continental GT, and the Bugatti Veyron to name a few) All personal preference. ;)
Nice shots Chester, #4 looks great!

it only comes in auto, the GTR35 is one of the most high tech cars out today. you can't even change the rims. yes alot of photoshoots has been done with aftermarket rims on but they were put on only for the shoot.

probably stable hands and they might be going very slow (but it looks fast) and he might have a tripod bolted on or something to the chase car. Thats the only things I can think of, or something similar.

Because the DSG tranny's are faster.
The White GTR is my absolute favorite. I don't know where you guys get all your ching, but you and your friends are ballers for real.

That GT-R's tranny is my car's next generation one. I own a 2007 G35 Sport (Skyline 350GT in Japan), which comes with those very same paddle shifters you see in the pic. Granted the tranny itself is different, the mechanism is the same - you toggle the paddles. You don't have a clutch and you don't have a traditional shifter. My question would hold true for the rest of the cars you had listed above. I just can't image driving a car (any of those cars) with so much power and toggle shifters. My G, was the first car in many years, which I ordered in manual. Thinking I can enjoy the "manual" capability I would get with the paddle shifters I decided to give it a shot. Don't get me wrong, the tranny is absolutely amazing, but it will never be the same as driving a traditional manual gearbox with a shifter, clutch, pressure plate, and of course - a flywheel.

the car really isn't auto.. it's a double clutch sequential manual transmission.. i think bmw is calling it smg 2.0 or something like that

Very nice photos! I especially like the last one.
All I see driving around are the gunmetal grey ones.
No white or black....yet, that is.
Not a particular fan of the 35 but is definitely a nice ride!!!
If you can't afford a 35 one, here's an option for a R34...

With a motor, is only $400! Headlights & horn work and comes with a drink holder and cellphone holder!
