So I was looking for a 5D on eBay. I came across a fresh listing for a used 5D for $1200. I have been waiting for a price like this on this camera so I skimmed the listing and clicked the BUY IT NOW option.

Here's a link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220211510829&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=012

I then got less impulsive and more suspicious.

The seller has only sold sweaters and other misc. items before. Now they have a ton of photo gear listed for insane prices. The seller is from Canada and only accepts Money Order or Discover.

I have not sent payment. Any suggestions for possible courses of action in terms of dealing with eBay or what happens if you don't send payment.

ROFL...clearly a hijacked account...contact ebay fraud. Sure would love to get that 400 for only $1,100!

Try contacting ebay to see what they can do.

Ebay took the auction off, it now shows listing removed. You should be off the hook.
