Silly Question? Wimberley II w/ Monopod?

Hi Gang,

I ran into a shooter over in Santa Cruz using the Wimberley II on a CF Gitzo tripod. But has anyone tried to use it on a Monopod?

The reason I ask is that I would love to have more of an elevation movement with my 400 2.8 MkII.

As long as the monopod is able to support the weight...why not?

Yes, I have. Sometimes, a tripod is impractical to use so when you have to work with a heavy lens, the only other option is a monopod.
