Hey guys, as you might know from my previous posts that I am a beginner and just starting out. I really would love to get into the photography business with animals. Anyway, I have been looking for a good camera lense to add to my Canon Powershot S5 IS. Also I have a question, how do you take the old one off and, if anyone knows of a camera lense that is under$150 I would be willing to take it. The cheapest one would be the best. Please Comment!!:D

I am pretty sure that you can't change lenses on a powershot. I can always be wrong.

You'd probably be better off posting in the small compacts forum. That being said, the lens on your Powershot isn't removable. Using an adapter, you can attach another lens in front of your lens, but that's it. Take a look at lensmate (http://lensmateonline.com/). Hands down, the best place for accessory lenses.

Oh Thanks, and do you know what the biggest memory card is that I can buy for it?

It should take any SDHC card readily available; certainly you're good for 8 GB, which is a lot of photos or over an hour of TV-quality video.

becareful with large memory cards, well it doesnt happen ALOT they can fail. And with 4-8 gigs of files, thats alot of memories lost. alot of slr users, and "pros" often carry several cards.
