It just arrived yesterday and today I had a quick sit down to try it out. I have tried so carefully to use PS tools in tracing around the subject with the mouse and finally quit as it was too much work.
Today I used the pen and with so little attempt I found out I'm definately going to love this pen stuff!
This took all but 5 minutes.

Looks good, and trust me you'll get really good with it, then you'll never want to use anything else.
I've found it's made me a lot more creative, check out my site for some of the recent stuff I've done with mine.
I'd love to see more when you get some.

Thanks Michaelmjc, I looked and idea's are already flashing in my head! I think it will give me more time behind the lens just knowing possibilities behing the computer.
It also seems like CS3 added some new tools. That's also new for me from CS2.

I don't know what I would do without my tablet though I am considering switching to a smaller size. I have the 8x6 now and it requires too much hand motion. I got to use a 4x5 and liked the smaller size much more.

That's actually the first time I heard 'Smaller Is Better".
From what I read the 6 by 8 is perfect for photography. Larger is good for artists and smaller I think would decrease acccuracy at times.

From what I read the 6 by 8 is perfect for photography. Larger is good for artists and smaller I think would decrease acccuracy at times. The 6x8 is nice and it's the size I have now, but I find that I am moving my whole hand especially when accessing the tool bar and menus. With the smaller pad, it's more a move of the wrist and fingers and I find that I can work much faster and more accurately as i anchor my wrist and and just move the pen by swiveling my wrist. It takes finer eye hand coordination on the smaller pad, but I got use to it pretty quickly.
