CAN ANYONE HELP? LOST IMAGES!!

While using my S300 I accidentally selected OK instead of CANCEL in the FORMAT menu! Therefore I lost 160 or so photos. I had a ScanDisk Compact Flash 128 meg memory card inside. I'm hoping someone may know how to reverse the damage I've inflicted or else may know of a place (maybe ScanDisk itself) I could send the memory card to for some hi tech data retrieval solution. Since the FBI can lift images off disks that have been shredded and burned, etc., I'm hoping someone out there knows how to retrieve date from a disk that was accidentally formatted. Please help! Thanks!

I hope that you can use one of the undelete programs that can actually unformat a disk. For this purpose you must put the card in a reader so that it will be another hard disk for your computer.

Would you happen to know the name of some undelete software? I've got the reader, so if I can get my hands on the software...thanks!

I just tested R-Undelete and it didn't work. Try to search the internet. Start with http://cssvc.pcworld.compuserve.com/computing/cis/article/0,aid,13859,pg,3,00.asp and take it from there. Your biggest problem might be that you don't have an image file. This file is normally created by these utilities.
