Save for Web vs Save As?

As I understand it, doing a "save as" will retain EXIF data wheras "save for web" will not. In PS, I mean. Anyway, are there any other significant differences between the commands, or is that pretty much it?

Save for Web strips EXIF. Save As retains EXIF. Other than that, there's not much difference. The Save for Web lets you optimize a little more though...eg you can type in a target file size and PS will compress it accordingly.
