I mean, I find that the settings seems almost double that what I get using film cameras. ISO 50 on the G6 appears like ISO 100 for film. Kind of weird in a way, but makes the G6 a more appealing tool as I can sort of "cheat."
Is this the case with all Canon digital cameras?

According to dpreview.com review ISO 50 = 80, 100 =200, 200 =400, 400 =800 on the G3 (and I think G5). Also think steves digicam says the same.

Weird stuff, eh?
I have read this on other forums, so it's good to know I'm not going bonkers-;)
So, it seems that the G-series cams do not comply with so-called standards in light sensitivity..............
