Wonderfull shots. I hope to have some at least half as good. This is my first time shooting at an airshow and I am looking forward to it. Do you know when it opens? I have not found any such info on the home page.

The gates should open around 10:00 am, but they may let people in earlier. Last year I goti in around 9.

It does start on Saturday but you can watch arrivals and practices from outside the fence.

The B2 is grounded so it won't be flying, the F117 is being retired so no show on that also :(

oh right i forgot about that B2 incident. DANG IT!
heck the p-51 was retired a long time ago, why cant that f117 still fly =P

so i have a question. how did you get 1/664 sec as a shutter speed??? you got some random numbers... i wonder if my camera can do that. or is that the act of using PS that messes it up. or is that the actual shutter speed and exposure time is what i should be looking at in your EXIF. been shooting all these years and never really noticed these things till i looked at the data on your shots!

Outside of being a bit on the dark side, they're pretty good shots. Nice catch on the last one.

Yes, it due to editing them in RAW since this laptop screen is horrible so I may end up screwing with the exposure in a bit.

Thanks, on my laptop they seem over-exposed so it just confirms how bad this screen is :(

Nice Photo's - I'll be there Sunday trying to get some good shots. I'll be the one by the fence trying to figure out why my 12 pound 400mm 2.8 lens won't use Image Stabilization on a tripod after what I paid for it,,,but I digress. Stop by and say Hi!

Looks good! I'll be there Sunday, hoping for good weather. It'll be the first time using my new (to me) 70-200 f/4L. I can't wait!
