so very slow, or is it me?

I don't know but these past couple of days this forum seems, on occasion to be really sloooooooooow to load, I've got a very fast DSL hook up at home and T-1 here at work, today on the T-1 I've had a real problem, more times than not it's timed out on me. Is it me or have things slowed down, with traffic. It's not just going into the topics though they have really slowed, but to the main site in general.

Yes the server is indeed slow from time to time due to many reasons (too little RAM, too many overlapping maintenance tasks, too many users on peak hours) - I have new server ready and will move this to there in few days - it will make a big difference to speed.

Thanks so much for the reply, I know at times my end is a little slow, I'm fighting a hijack program on my T-1 (home search) terrible I get cleaned off then sooner or later it pops up again and starts slowing things done. Let me say now Pekka thank you for one of the best run and most enjoyable sites on the net, keep up the great work. Being the nosey type are you any relation to the great architect with the same last name?

Many thanks to Pekka and the Mods for keeping this forum running smoothly. I have noticed a little slowdown lately as well, but similar slowdowns sometimes occur on my end, so it is hard to tell from whence it comes.
