I don't get it.
I thought that when you got 1000 posts, the title automatically changed to "Senior Member".
Guess I was wrong and I'll have this goofy title forever.
Is there a page with the rules about this stuff?
Man, I just can't keep-up.

Your current title has been manually set and overrides the auto-progression titles.
If you really are sick of your current title, you could always send a PM to CDS and ask to have your title reset.

David of 1000 Posts, FinallyThe only rule is that once you say something that earns you a custom title, it stays until you say something even more memorable. You're doomed, one way or another.

I never claimed to be one.
The new one fits too, I think. If it takes me 5 years for the second thousand, I wonder how big the forum will be then.

I have a feeling that asking for your title to be reset is like painting a bullseye on yourself. You have to either get a title early or stay under the radar.

I don't think people should 'live in fear'. That's not the culture this place is trying to maintain - although it would seem so - especially considering the owners and positions of some of the posters above.
