i'm wanting to extend my range of photography styles, maybe street photography, or urban photography, but I'm a naturally shy person :oops:

so, aside from getting off my posterior and going out and doing it, do fellow potn'ers have any tips, tricks, quirks to improve my confidence???

Get off your ass and do it.

Try on a Friday/Saturday night when people are out having fun. Most of the time they're just enjoying themselves and will pose for you.

I tried some street photog, wasnt my bag. i noticed i felt like more uncomfortable when i was alone, having someone else with a camera along helps.

Have a few beers before you go out and do it. Tether or handcuff the camera to your hand, just incase you go overboard with the beers.

After that, I think you should be the same. Or have a friend to come too. I sometimes get a bit wary if im by myself at times.
