nothig like a grey/brown background to show off dust!
Another from today, a three shot stack. I think this is Labulla thoracica (female of this sp. is best match in my book). About 5mm

sorry to hear that, rain didn't arrive here until early evening. Loads of flies about now basking in the sun.

Aww, poor little springtail. Wonderful spider shots, great detail on it.
The flash info on PBase hasnt been showing up now for ages - dont know what they did that removed it but it used to work. I cant remember the last time it worked as its been so long, so now. I try and remember to put the flash name in the 'Tech notes' bit, but more often than not I forget. On a couple of the macro galleries I have made a note at the top of the pages to say that it doesnt show because some people like to know whether a flash has been used especially for macro pics.

apparently the springer is Pogonognathellus flavescens - minus the scales!
