Hi folks,
I found that in Av and P mode the slowest speed my S 30 provides is 1 second, even if a slower shutter speed is required. The only way to buy more time is using Tv and M mode - or is there another way to do so which I did not find out yet? I cannot quite follow Canon's philosophy: Why do they lock slower shutter speeds than 1 second - you have to use a tripod at this speed anyway...
