good try, but the only one that grabs me is the last one. And it is stellar! Try to do the same thing at the bridge, or the strings at the sound hole.

Agree, #3 is great shot. The rest are kind of "plain".

i love that last one. the selective focus is great.

As for the other two, the first one is alright just not much to me. I think the second would look much better in BW or on black.

Thanks for the C+C everyone!

The second shot was composed in color simply so that the color of the wood (Hawaiian Koa) could be shown. To use B+W just wouldn't do justice to this exotic wood.

number 1 and 2 dont bdo anything at all for me but number three woah blew me away, very interesting leads you to look longer and longer, great DOF, great colors, great lighting!
