I would like to give a bride a set of her pictures on CD for relatives and friends to order from but I don't want to give her a full resolution CD. How difficult is it to take my wedding edited shots(high resolution) and make them low resolution(so they can't be used for making reprints). I have to change 300 pictures so I am assuming some sort of action would be used. Thanks Brian ....... Any recommendation on what resolution to give her would be appreciated...Settings.

If I remember right (I'm answering this from work) there is an action in the production tab of your actions that will go to JPG medium. You can run this through File>automate>batch. If this isn't what you want then record your own and use it through the batch process.

Irfanview has a nice batch processing routine that you can custom configure for resizing alot of images at once.
You can download a free copy here (http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html) :D :D :D

Brian,
If you have Photoshop, then I have several articles in this section (http://www.rogercavanagh.com/actions.stm) of my site that expalin how to create and run batch actions.
As to settings, I'd say around 600-700 pixels on the long side at JPG compression 5/6 would work. That's what I use on my web galleries, e.g.:

I think the pictures look fine and certainly couldn't produce used to produce a decent quality print of any size.

Lazy person's way -
open the folder with your chosen files in the PS browser, select all,
automate a web presentation (specify your picture size), sit back,
let PS do the job, when done take the images out of the folder it
created and discard the rest.
