Hello all, I posted a few pictures I took with my 40D yesterday, and today I woked on a collage for my photoshop class.

We are practicing with Layers, so we have to have multiple layers.

Here is a picture collage I worked on for my sister.

There are parts I like, and others I don't. Such as the two photos that are just there (in front of the number, and top right). Not a fan of those.....

Please let me know what you think and how I can improve!

Thanks!

Funny -- I looked at the image before I read your text and had already said those same two images have to go. The halo around them is not good.

Other thoughts - try making the number smaller an adding the team name and year - in the font of the way it would be on their jerseys if you can.

Consider that the main shot should show more of the face rather than just a profile - personal pref there.

Clone out the red letters/sign at the left shoulder in the main shot.

Any with a puck showing him making a save?

Thanks for your comments!

I will end up getting rid of those photos. You think there is another way they could be added? Or should I just ditch them all together?

There were not many pictures I got with the puck. Just the middle on on the right side (you can see it on the very top right of the frame. Everytime I snapped an action shot of her making a save, someone skated in front.

She used to play for Salve Regina, but these shots were in a pickup hour, so maybe I can put the Salve Logo and year she graduated under the number?
