I'm just curious. I plan to get the Pro-T. But, before I do, I want to make sure that it will work with a BG-E1 Battery Grip (when I buy one).

Thanks in advance.

If it works with the 10D and the BG-ED3 grip, can't see why it wouldn't work with the BG-E1 grip. Just make sure you get the right friction(?) plate for the camera. The Pro-T doesn't come with it so you have to order it extra and there are many to choose from. The trick is to find the correct one for your particular camera. And don't be surprised when you learn that you may need one plate for the camera when used by itself and another different one when used with the grip.

And, I'm sure you know this already, but you also need to get a cord to connect the flash to the camera. Unless, of course, if you're going to use the ST-E2 to fire the remote flash.

Did not know about the friction plates. I'm glad I asked. Where can I find these? I'm sure B&H's site has 'em, but how will I know which is right for the Dreb?

I checked on B&H's site, but I can't find any anti-twist plates made for the Digital Rebel.

Look at the link above. According to Adorama, the 300EOS should work with the digital rebel. And B&H has that plate. However, the unknown is whether this plate will also work with the 300D with the grip attached. And don't forget to also get the the E-TTL compatible flash cord.

I plan to get the off camera shoe. It's on my list too. I appreciate the heads up though. I just didn't knwo the anti twist plate was needed. I appreciate the heads up!
