View Full Version : Same parameters, yet completely different photos??

I took two photos the other day and they looked quite different, of the same exact subject. I figured the parameters must have been different but, upon examination, both photos had the same exact iso, aperture and shutter speed! What else could have caused this? One was much darker than the other. Thanks

What mode were you shooting in? If the parameters are the same and and there is any change in the light conditions then the pictures will look different.

If there is anything bright in the picture, such as the sky, a small reorientation of the lens to include more sky can result in a much darker picture. The meter is easily fooled. If you post the pictures it would be much easier to help you.
