Never heard of them, and they aren't listed on Reseller Ratings. What has you worried about them? Did something not feel right about the transaction?

They are an online printing service, 4 8x10's and a 10x20 for $20.
Just wondering if anyone has used em before.

Exactly why i chose them, i just hope all else holds true :-)
They say their turnaround is 24 hours, i placed the order last night so i'd expect to have them by the end of the week? maybe sat?
Sound right??

I generally get mine in three days although once I think it took four. You should get your prints by Sat.

WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG!
The 8x10's are nice of course, but the 20x30 is splendid!
This has changed my view on many things.
The need for a large format printer is now gone (ahh, that saves me $300)
4 megapixels is dandy (although, it makes me wonder what something like the 1Ds MKII can do )
I need to print more of my work...i'll do that tonight.

Did you use the Calibration target that they send you?
I tried them once, and the prints came right away, but one had a black mark across the face, the others were just off as far as color goes....so they reprinted my order and sent me the calib. target. I haven't tried again, but probably will someday when I have some more time. I know others have been impressed with MPIX.

They send you a TIFF & a print of the same image and you use it to calibrate your monitor....roughly of course...by eyeballing it.
Glad your color worked well.

Hmmm,
I didn't get a calibration target either, but, I love their prints. Glad you're happy with 'em timmyquest.
I haven't tried a 20x30 yet. Need the right photo
Since I got my first photos back from them, I haven't even thought about a printer. I do believe sending them off is cheaper in the long run.

Seems to be a good pan-am size but mine was actually a football picture.
It just fit perfectly

Do you have to do anything special to the files before uploading to an online printing company as far as resizing, etc, or do you just have to choose the size print you want?

Yeah, typically when you upload to a service like this, you have to have the proportions correct based on the size you've chosen.... and of course you need to color correct, sharpen, etc. prior to uploading

Can you recommend some sort of reference for this? I've never printed before as all of my images are on CD/Web. Just looking for some basic guidelines before I send out for some prints. Thanks.

I've used Mpix before. I had a 16 x 20 printed and it came out real nice.
Has anyone tried their "metallic" paper prints ?

I am putting together a panorama of the mountains/valley where I live for my father in law's model railroad setup. Its (4) 20x30's, built from five images from my D60 and combined in Photoshop CS. I sent the first 2000x3000 px file to them and it came back in two days - just perfect. I sent the next three and expect them to be here Thursday. Considering what I sent them (min resolution for this size print), the print quality is excellent - color is exactly like my monitor, any upsizing they did doesn't show pixels on the print. I'm highly impressed with them and highly recommend them. Their prices just can't be beat from what I can tell.
